Synopsis
Based on the famous novel by S.E. Hinton, tex is an authentic story about two American teenagers growing up in the Southwest who are trying to make the right decisions with little parental guidance.

Tex McCormick (Matt Dillon) is easy-going and spends most of his time riding his old, reliable cow-horse Rowdy, or playing practical jokes with his best friend Johnny (Emilio Estevez). His older brother Mason (Jim Metzler), however, must assume the responsibilities of running the household for their rambling, rodeo-riding father, despite his dreams of an athletic scholarship.

As the two boys struggle through their conflicts and face the challinging choices of adolescence, their relationship grows stronger in this superb coming-of-age adventure.
